Sonny Creer is a professional, dynamic and exciting hair stylist who infuses
incredible passion into his craft and provides a personal experience for all of his
clients. Sonny began his career back in Atlanta where he was the principal hair
stylist for the entire news team of "Good Day Atlanta" for a year. While doing
that, he also worked at the N'Sea Salon & Spa for about 7 years where his
clients included famous R&B singers Toni Braxton and Chante Moore.
He left Atlanta and moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where he immediately landed
his first job as a hairstylist for Madonna's dancers on her highly successful,
televised, four month long "Sticky & Sweet Tour 2008"--which became the
highest grossing female tour of all time with a gross revenue of $408 million and
was seen by 3.2 million fans in 32 countries.
Since being in Los Angeles, Sonny has provided his amazing hairstyling talents
to clients that have appeared on various types of media ranging from television,
print and runway including Entertainment Tonight, MTV, E! Entertainment, Food
Network, Maxim, Playboy, Baby Couture, LA Fashion Week, reality TV, feature
films and music videos, amongst many others. Sonny is also a recurring hair
stylist during NBC TV's upfronts where he styles hair for many of the network's
hottest TV stars.
Sonny had previously worked at Pennington Salon in West Hollywood where he
developed and built a consistent and loyal clientele including actresses
Gabrielle Union ("Bring It On", "Bad Boys 2"), Nicki Micheaux ("Lincoln
Heights"), Shanola Hampton ("Shameless") and Nicole Ari Parker ("Soul Food",
"Boogie Nights"), among many others spanning various industries from
entertainment to law.
Sonny also worked at the Kim Kimble Salon in West Hollywood where he
continued his tradition of cutting-edge hair styling technique and unique,
specialized, one-on-one care for each and every client. While at this salon,
Sonny had the distinct honor of hair styling African royalty on a few occasions.
